Dark thoughts of a bright man

No, I don’t usually post gadget news on my blog, but this one is simply insane. As a great fan of Apple (pies), I am enchanted to announce that Mr. Jobs brought up a new generation of iPods.

First, let’s talk about the new nano.

Apple made it shorter and wider, and threw a 2.0″ LCD display on it. A new feature for this generation of nano is video-playback. Apple decided that although the player is smaller, it should offer video-playback, too. It comes with a very sleek, rounded design, which feels much nicer than the previous edgy versions.

Every single day I get up, I wash my blurry eyes, kill them cereals and drop my jelly-like body on the sofa. And… suddenly, a lot of questions keep popping into my head. At this moment, I really don’t know what’s my job on this Earth. I am still searching for something. I see a lot of people doing things with their lives. My life feels so empty and cold…

Maybe I shouldn’t make a problem out of this. Maybe I should just live for the moment and watch out for opportunities. But when opportunities don’t come up, I really feel odd. Why should I continue waiting for something that I can’t even explain? This is just a part of the problem. The true issue is that I don’t have (never) the mood to search for opportunities. I just want them to materialize in front of my eyes. I’m too lazy to create them.

This year, I’ll get involved in a lot of activities. I hope that will bring the sunshine in my life. I think I have to upgrade myself to a superior level. I feel the power within me and I am ready to spend my last bits of energy on doing something that will affect me (in a positive way) long-term.

No, no, no… Don’t get me wrong! OK, for some of you, “farting” is veeery embarrassing. It’s really not.

So, where all the gas comes from? Well, when the food passes our digestive system and gets into our stomach, some chemical reactions (between food, acids and enzymes in our digestive juice) take place. While the digestion process, large molecules of food decompose into smaller ones, thus some gas is resulted, mostly methane. Another important component of the fart gas is oxygen, the excess that is not absorbed by our body.

Mainly, I don’t want to talk about the stinky part of farting, but the energetic potential of the mighty gas. Methane is a great bio-fuel. Its combustion produces a good amount of heat. Everybody farts. Just imagine that every single person on this damn Earth would collect his/her own, home-made combustible. We could save the world!

I’m not being ecologist-like, I’m just being realistic. Earth’s resources are going to end sooner than you might think. I say we should start gathering farts!

Damn, I couldn’t retain myself from talking about this. Ever wondered why farts stink? Sulfur is the answer. Sulfur compounds are known for their… uhm… “special” odor. Hydrogen sulfide makes it stinky. So, the more sulfur-rich food you eat, the stinkier your farts get!

Woooaah! I’m back, folks! I feel better now. I enjoyed myself these days and I managed to leave the stress behind, and have fun as much as I could. I…

F&^k! I just feel this strange thing… I think I’m being too impersonal on my personal blog, and that is absolutely wrong! Many things pop into my head, but I just can’t put them in here. I just can’t.

Nooo more Mr. I(mpersonal). Did I just lose my good mood again? I did, I did!

Sometimes I feel I think too much. I have to follow my first “vibe”, that is. Maybe I should write what my heart dictates, just like Fidel does with his nation.

That’s it, I’m crazy!

Today… OK, tomorrow is kind of important for me. Not just because it’s my birthday (thank you, thank you very much), but because I just feel… somewhat special. I think it’s because I’ll have more spare time for my useless but nonetheless important things, and that means a lot for me. I think I’ll just lie in bed, watch some movies, call that cute girl next door who is staring at me all the time (she’s freaky, I tell you).

Presents, kisses, hugs, coke, apple pies, my sore ears… Aaah… How couldn’t you love it?! I can’t wait.

I feel a bit strange. Yes, it’s weekend, but I feel very ill and tired. Maybe that’s the reason I haven’t written anything on this blog. Suddenly, I feel powerless… Usual weekends were extremely funny. It’s all going down now: my health, my vigor, my friends… I don’t feel like doing anything.

Everything seems (again) very odd. I wish something could make me get out of this mind state. I just hate it! Bleah!

I’ve played around a little with WordPress and I managed to improve the usability and responsiveness of the site. I installed AJAX-based Comments, I tested WP-Cache and it works great, and my pages are valid. I am very pleased with my new optimizations.

Edit: I installed multi-langual support on my blog. I’m going international, baby! After receiving multiple comments from my fellow Romanians, I decided that this blog should be accessible for a larger number of people.

I’m keeping the default post title that WordPress put in the sample post because it has the same meaning. Yes, Hello world! A new blog was born while this post was written. I’ll take good care of my new “baby-blog”.

I installed WordPress, grabbed a theme, edited it a little, modified some code and voila! They all say one should know his own limits; let’s see how far I can get with this blog.
