Dark thoughts of a bright man

În ultima vreme am avut câteva probleme emoţionale, mai mult sau mai puţin grave, care mi-au afectat radical perspectiva asupra mediuliu înconjurător, asupra oamenilor şi asupra vieţii.

De cele mai multe ori, am avut impresia că ceva nu merge bine, că lucrurile nu sunt aşa cum ar trebui sa fie. Sunt o persoană care gândeşte mult, poate prea mult. Atât de mult, încât am uitat ce vreau să aflu, să descopăr. O groază de lucruri mă frământă şi mă chinuie, dar nu reuşesc să mă concentrez pe esenţa problemelor mele.

Am auzit vorbindu-se despre gândirea pozitivă, despre cum să duci o viaţă “dreaptă”, în care reuşeşti să depăşeşti toate problemele. Ei, eu cred că totul depinde de încrederea pe care o ai… În tine, sau în alţii. Depinde în mâinile cui îţi pui viaţa.

Retarzii care cred că pot să ducă o viaţă bună şi fără pete negre… Ei bine, dragii mei… E doar o impresie vagă. Dar te simţi bine când primeşti ajutor. Ajutor. De asta au nevoie oamenii.

Mulţi oameni leagă expresia “gândire pozitivă” cu religia, cu Dumnezeu. Ei cred că dacă îşi pun viaţa în mâinile Mântuitorului, vor scăpa de necazuri. Ăsta e lucrul care îi stimulează.

Pentru a gândi pozitiv, trebuie să crezi în ceva, mai exact, în ajutor. Trebuie să ai încredere în puterea aceasta… de a ajuta. Gândirea pozitivă se bazează pe impresia pe care şi-o creează oamenii că cineva e aici să-i ajute, să le ofere mâna aceea de ajutor de care au nevoie, cineva să-i salveze din hăul ăla adânc.

Interesant este că “cei care s-au dăruit cu trup şi suflet” unui ideal, unei persoane, unei impresii, unui vis, unei entităţi, unui zeu… Well, oamenii ăştia trăiesc fericiţi. Dar, de fapt, ei trăiesc absent. Trăiesc prin cineva… Nu e viaţa lor aceea pe care o trăiesc.

A trăi cu adevărat înseamnă a-ţi asuma orice responsabilitate legată de viaţa ta. Câţi dintre noi trăiesc… separaţi de orice lucru în care cred? Gigi crede în Dumnezeu.

Cum spuneam, odată ce începi să crezi în ceva, odată ce îţi dăruieşti sufletul, dar reuşeşti să înţelegi adevărata valoare a unei vieţi.

Deci ce înseamnă gândire pozitivă? Well, gândire pozitivă o dobândeşti prin încredere, devotament, sacrificiu. Ajutorul pe care îl materializezi în mintea ta, nu face altceva decât să te autostimuleze, să îţi dea speranţă. Încrederea e totul, de acolo pornesc toate.

Cu ocazia zilei îndrăgostiţilor, vă urez să aveţi cele mai dulci momente alături de persoanele voastre iubite şi fie ca această zi de cacao să fie ultima care mă deranjează. Cadouri, pupici, love… Bleah.

Well, I know some people out there have some… “bad” habits. They do drugs for money or they just like to smoke it. Even though it’s illegal almost everywhere, the “purple” keeps burning. Yes, I’m talking about weed, Mary Jane… marijuana.

I’m not a fan of dope, but I see a major problem here. Marijuana is one of the main sources for natural THC, but still, the Governments deny it. I do agree that dope has some side effects, being addictive. So what? Almost every single medicine is addictive if taken in large quantities and for a long time. I don’t get it. Is there a catch or something?

Marijuana has been used in farming, culture, religious (christian, jewish, muslim etc), medical, food and fuel for 8000 years. Not only it has cancer and tumor fighting capiblity it also is probably the best source of biofuel on the planet. Hemp plants can also help replenish damage topsoil, it can survice drought and floods. And ive not even mentioned how it got criminalised. Do some research on it before going on some holy crusade against it…

The corporations don’t want people using drugs that they can’t control the price of. Since the corporations run the government, marijuana will never be legalized. It is a shame that marijuana brings comfort to so many people but they aren’t allowed to use it legally. This is definitely a fight worth fighting.

No, no, no… Don’t get me wrong! OK, for some of you, “farting” is veeery embarrassing. It’s really not.

So, where all the gas comes from? Well, when the food passes our digestive system and gets into our stomach, some chemical reactions (between food, acids and enzymes in our digestive juice) take place. While the digestion process, large molecules of food decompose into smaller ones, thus some gas is resulted, mostly methane. Another important component of the fart gas is oxygen, the excess that is not absorbed by our body.

Mainly, I don’t want to talk about the stinky part of farting, but the energetic potential of the mighty gas. Methane is a great bio-fuel. Its combustion produces a good amount of heat. Everybody farts. Just imagine that every single person on this damn Earth would collect his/her own, home-made combustible. We could save the world!

I’m not being ecologist-like, I’m just being realistic. Earth’s resources are going to end sooner than you might think. I say we should start gathering farts!

Damn, I couldn’t retain myself from talking about this. Ever wondered why farts stink? Sulfur is the answer. Sulfur compounds are known for their… uhm… “special” odor. Hydrogen sulfide makes it stinky. So, the more sulfur-rich food you eat, the stinkier your farts get!

I’m keeping the default post title that WordPress put in the sample post because it has the same meaning. Yes, Hello world! A new blog was born while this post was written. I’ll take good care of my new “baby-blog”.

I installed WordPress, grabbed a theme, edited it a little, modified some code and voila! They all say one should know his own limits; let’s see how far I can get with this blog.
